AV Series
The AV series combines all the features of the SLX series with video, digital signage and presentation functionality. ShowMagic AV can be used to store, route, play and control video, digital signage and PowerPoint presentations on any one of up to 3 video outputs.
Lighting
Create awesome lightshows using generic or intelligent fixtures, simplified using features such as the FX generator. Create impressive displays for LED lighting using ColourScene. Profiles for over 1,100 fixtures from over 60 manufacturers are available in the fixture library, or create your own.Audio
Play audio in mono, stereo or surround sound. With support for multi-channel ASIO soundcards: Play up to 16-track multi-track. Play audio on any of up to 32 audio outputs. Route audio from any of up to 32 inputs to one or more of up to 32 outputs.
Video
Store, play and route video to any video output with control of audio volume, start point and duration, video fade-in / fade-out and volume fade-in / fade-out.
Digital Signage
Create and edit digital signage and instantly deploy it on any one or more video outputs. ShowMagic AV’s digital signage features offer a multi-channel alternative to PowerPoint.
PowerPoint
PowerPoint presentations can be stored and played (full screen) on any one video output, with control of start, stop, back-a-slide and forward-a-slide.
Virtual Windows
ShowMagic AV’s unique ‘Virtual Window’ system enables you to play video, pictures and digital signage in any size and position on any video output. Video, pictures and signage are automatically re-sized to fit the size (and shape) of the virtual window in which they are played. This makes ShowMagic AV an ideal content player for the new generation of LED videowalls.
External Device Control
Control MIDI or RS232 compatible devices such as projectors, AV switchers, audio processors, mixing desks etc.
Sequences
Create integrated sequences with video, PowerPoint, digital signage, audio, lighting and external devices perfectly synchronized.
Scheduler
Anything programmed in ShowMagic can be run automatically at any specified day and time, but with full manual override if required.
External Triggering
ShowMagic can be controlled using a variety of external triggering options including:
Closed-contact Devices - Standard wall switches, pressure pads, PIRs, dusk sensors etc. These features require optional 16-channel digital input module(s).
MIDI Input - Use an external MIDI keyboard or sequencer to control anything programmed in ShowMagic.
Analogue Input - Any 0-10v signal can be used to control a ShowMagic event. Sliders, rotary knobs, joysticks etc. can be connected to ShowMagic using an optional 32-channel analogue input card.
RS232 - Any device that outputs RS232 messages (such as another PC) can be used to control anything programmed in ShowMagic
