A single ShowMagic system can provide all of the following in museum applications: multiple, independent listening posts where visitors can press a button to listen to a commentary in the language of their choice; multiple video presentations, themed presentations using lighting, sound, fog & wind machines, and so on.
These exhibits can be made interactive using any closed-contact devices - wall switches, PIRs, pressure pads etc. (connected to optional, easy-to-install, digital input modules) and default background states can be programmed to run when the presentations are not running.
The scheduler included in SLX & AV models can ensure that projectors, screens, lighting fixtures etc. are all switched off automatically when the museum is closed.
